On Wednesday, May 16, 2018, an educational walk through the Kozala cemetery was organized under the expert guidance of art historian M.Sc. Daina Glavočič.
The walk began by introducing the members present to the history of the cemetery, showing the layout of the burial fields and highlighting the most important mausoleums of famous people from Rijeka.
This was followed by a walk through the eastern part with stops, to clarify the importance of the more artistically important tombs (Scarpa, Smokvina, Dal'Asta-Mohovich, Riboli...), to describe the work of more important authors (I. Rendić, R. Rovan, B. Angheben, U. Bottasso, U. Gnata), and to review the tombs' commissioners (Branchetta, Ciotta, Kobler...).
